Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

Billing and renewal
AuditFetch paid plans are subscriptions priced per organization in U.S. dollars. Available billing terms depend on your deployment profile. Your selected plan, price, and monthly or annual billing term appear before purchase. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically for the same billing term and Stripe charges the payment method on file. There is no free trial unless an offer expressly says otherwise.
Offline and air-gapped deployment profiles require an annual term. Running AuditFetch on your own infrastructure does not by itself mean your license is offline: connected local installations use our licensing service. Contact us before purchase if you need an offline or air-gapped deployment.
How to cancel
Cancel future renewals at any time online through the Stripe customer portal, or by emailing info@auditfetch.com from the email address used for the subscription. Include the organization name if available. We will confirm the request and stop future recurring charges. Canceling renewal does not immediately restrict your workspace: your paid access continues through the current monthly or annual term, subject to the separate suspension and termination provisions below.
Local access after expiry or cancellation
If your local license expires without renewal, its applicable grace period is stated in the license. During that period, your plan's licensed collection and export functionality remains available. When grace ends, new scheduled and on-demand evidence collection and outbound compliance-platform synchronization stop.
A connected license marked canceled at the end of the paid term becomes read-only when the installation receives the updated license status. Cancellation does not guarantee an additional grace period. A license revoked following termination also becomes read-only when that status takes effect.
In this read-only state, you can continue to read and export previously collected evidence, including assembling packets from retained records. This permission continues after the subscription ends, subject to the retention rules below. Expiry or cancellation does not itself trigger evidence deletion. These local-access provisions do not promise continued hosting for a managed deployment.
Payment suspension and restoration
Failed payments can suspend a connected license. The restriction takes effect when the installation receives the updated license status: new collection stops and export is unavailable while the license is suspended. Suspension differs from ordinary expiry or cancellation and can override expiry grace and export access.
After payment is resolved, a connected installation must receive an updated valid license status before licensed functionality is restored. Offline renewals require delivery and installation of a renewed license. Payment alone does not update an offline installation. Contact us if access has not been restored.
Offline licenses and termination
We cannot remotely disable a license already installed in a deployment that does not connect to our licensing service. This technical limitation does not waive payment obligations or authorize use in breach of the Terms. For fraud, chargebacks, or material breach, we may terminate contractual usage rights, decline future license issuance or renewal, and restrict connected services as provided in the Terms. The permission to read and export retained local evidence described above survives termination.
Evidence retention
Local evidence retention is measured from each artifact's capture date using the applicable plan retention period. Expiry or cancellation does not restart that period. The software continues to apply retention rules after the subscription ends and may delete evidence when its retention period has elapsed. Legal holds, explicit retention extensions, and protections for evidence referenced by closed audit periods can prevent deletion. Continued access does not mean indefinite retention.
These rules describe evidence managed by AuditFetch in your installation. You remain responsible for your infrastructure, backups, and copies exported to other systems.
Refunds
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for a partially used billing period. The following exceptions apply to both monthly and annual subscriptions, and we honor them on request:
- Before delivery. Fulfillment includes a human step: after payment we verify the release package, sign your license, and email the package link, checksum, and installation instructions. If you ask to cancel before we have delivered that license and package, we refund the charge in full.
- First billing period. Email us within 14 days of your first subscription charge and we will refund it in full and stop future renewals. This applies once, to the first paid period of a subscription.
- Unwanted renewal. Email us within 14 days of a renewal charge. If the renewed period has not been used, we will refund that charge and stop future renewals.
- Billing problems. If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or associated with software that was materially unavailable, email us promptly. We will investigate and address valid requests in good faith.
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights.
Plan and price changes
You may request a plan change by contacting us. We will explain its timing and price before applying it. We will provide advance notice of a subscription price increase; it will not apply before the first renewal following the effective date stated in the notice.
